Each colour and pattern design is inspired and based on an actual species of frog, that is replicated by the skilled craftsmen and women of the Lures Factory to ensure that each Jumbo Frog looks as life-like and realistic as its living counterpart. What ensues is nothing short of breath taking.
Each Jumbo Frog is made of a tough resin-based composite material that will withstand repeated snakehead attacks that no soft body frog could hope to ever achieve, making the Jumbo Frog a far more economically viable alternative than all its soft body counterparts put together.
In addition, the Jumbo Frog comes constructed with a stainless steel, through-wire, running the entire length of the frog for maximum lug strength.
The Jumbo Frog is designed as a floater with its chin poised above the waterline, making it ready for action the minute it hits the water running.
The position of the chin gives the Jumbo Frog its characteristic “push-water, bow-wave” action to create maximum water disturbance. In addition, to enhance its action, Lures Factory have included an internal stainless steel ball bearing rattling chamber, that will ensure that the Jumbo Frog is guaranteed to get the attention of any giant snakehead parent protecting their fry.
The Jumbo Frog has an excellent weight (17.5 grams) to size (6.5 cm) ratio, making it a breeze to achieve respectable casting distances.
In addition, being designed with a lowered center of gravity, the Jumbo Frog possesses a self-righting mechanism that always has the Jumbo Frog on its belly, in flight and on retrieval no matter how or where it is cast.
Each Jumbo Frog comes with a double hook and an adjustable weed guard to ensure that it never gets snagged no matter how weedy the terrain. The adjustable feature allows the angler to tune the weed guard (in terms of snag resistance by extending or retracting the length of the clear PVC sleeve into the hook tips in order) to suit the conditions of each terrain.
In addition, each double hook is dressed with a tough and seriously durable, colour coordinated, silicon skirt that not only adds aesthetic appeal, but also acts as a secondary weed guard should the adjustable weed guard come loose from it hook tips. Whilst this might appear to be trivial, it is in fact intended to ensure that the Jumbo Frog remains snag free for maximum water time – which translates into increased chances of a hook-up.
