The Megabass Makippa spin tail jig is a new type of casting blade jig that simply needs to be retrieved to be effective.

The tail features a willow blade that attracts fish extremely well on a straight retrieve and incorporates the Blade Hook System that reliably hooks up blade bites without impeding the rotation of the blade.

The Blade Hook System consists of Megabass’ Makippa Blade Hook and Double Assist Hook combination.

The calculated body balance and placement of parts avoids body rotations and allows for stable swimming and flashing that attracts targets.

The jig can be worked across different depths of the water column. If retrieval commences immediately after splashdown it will cover the sub-surface range. If it is allowed to sink, the lure will cover the mid-range or bottom with its excellent range-keeping ability.

In addition, the lure comes equipped with a tinsel assist hook which is effective against many types of fish, and the belly lug allows for customisation with the attachment of double or treble hooks (see  Hook and Blade Customisation table below).
