The OROCHI X4 SPINNING - F1-70X4S - HYENA YUKI ITO SPECIAL is an ultra-light spinning rod designed for the finesse presentation of soft bait and small hard body lures.
At 7ft, the HYENA, with its ultra-thin blank, cuts through the air to flick light weight lures a remarkable distance. This is achieved by the rod’s medium-fast action and the use of Megabass’ high-torque, high elasticity X4 graphite matrix in the HYENA’S blank.
What however, makes the HYENA standout is its hook-setting potential that comes from the power in this mid section and butt of the blank, which locks up on sudden reaction bites. The more bend, the more torque it displays.
The HYENA is an aggressive ultra-thin model that surpasses the current stand of ultra light action rods.
Blanks used in the Orochi X4 series consist of a proprietary 4 axis woven graphite. The 4 axis weave helps to improve the strength and durability of the rod and at the same time, also enhances the sensitivity of the blanks.
