The OROCHI X4 - F4-67X4 - RATTLE VIPERTYPE-F is a rod specialized for aggressive soft bait games.
The blank has a soft flexible spinning rod-like tip that allows the angler to sense the topography of the bottom of the river/lake bed as a worm is dragged along it.
In contrast, the high tension mid-section of the rod is designed for reliable hookups, and the butt has the power to battle against large fish.
All of these different elements coexist within one blank shaft to make this a purpose built tool for soft plastic luring.
Blanks used in the Orochi X4 series consist of a proprietary 4 axis woven graphite. The 4 axis weave helps to improve the strength and durability of the rod and at the same time, also enhances the sensitivity of the blanks.
The unique aluminium IHLS shaft locking system reduces the spatial allowance between the Orochi X4 series and the accompanying reel. This results in an increased rigidity of the support shaft blanks butt section and also enhances the sensitivity of the rod setup.
