Daiwa - Fish Pick 85 - YELLOW - Ike-jimi Dispatch Tool

The Daiwa Fish Pick 85 is a multi-purpose tool that is intended as a fish dispatch (ike jimi) instrument that can also be used as an ice pick to break up frozen bait.

The tool comes equipped with an 8cm tetrahedral spike housed in an ABS offset “butterfly” handle system that securely presents the spike when opened, whilst safely stowing it away when closed.

A latch is located at the base of the handle system to enable safe operation of the tool.

The tetrahedral design of the spike ensures that it acts as a wedge to drive through tough scull bone to quickly dispatch a fish with the least amount of struggle. As an ice pick, it works great to break up frozen bait, or to chip off a chunk of ice for that glass of scotch as the sun sets.
