Rapala - Shadow Rap Shad SDRS09 - MOLTEN COPPER - Floating Jerk Bait

The Rapala Shadow Rap Shad SDRS09 is a sleek thin profiled 9cm, 12gram, slow floating minnow fishing lure that is designed for midwater action.

Constructed with a short (1cm), upturned lip angled approximately 45 degrees downwards that will make the lure dive to no more than 1.2m on a steady retrieve.

Perfect poise and balance is achieved with 5 tungsten bearing located immediately above its belly lug.

Designed with the concept to mimic the action of a dying minnow’s last struggle for life, the Shadow Rap Shad is capable of producing tight turns when twitched before settling in a horizontal position before starting a slow rise on the pause.

Each turn exposes it flanks to light to fall off and cause shimmer to attract the attention of its intended prey.

To further enhance the appeal of the Shadow Rap SDRS09, Rapala have constructed the lure with a textured scale body with translucent frosted colour options to fool unsuspecting predators into thinking that this “dying bait” makes for an easy meal.

Solid hook ups are achieved with VMC Black Nickel treble hooks that come standard with this minnnow.
