Megabass - i-Jack - GALAXY GILL - Floating Wake Bait

The Megabass i-Jack is a large profile, 1oz (28grams), 107.7mm, floating, wake bait fishing lure that is designed for sub-surface action.

This wake bait comes with a “sting ray” shaped bib that is mounted almost at, a 180-degree angle. This design feature ensures that the lure creates maximum resistance when retrieved to create a wake, whilst diving to no more than 30cm beneath the surface.

In addition, the i-Jack lure comes equipped with a novel internal “rudder action” i balancer system.

This balancer system, comprising a “rudder” arm to which a lead knocker is molded onto its end, is mounted on a vertical shaft that sways freely from side-to-side.

This free play action not only accentuates the yawing and rolling of the lure as if it is being steered by a rudder to permit maximum flash, but it also allows the knocker to smack against the internal flanks of the lure to create a distinctive knocking sound that is designed with the intention to illicit the attention of the i-Jack’s intended target.

Once the angler stops retrieving the lure, it will rise to the surface with it head popping out of the water that gives the impression of a dying bait fish rising to the surface to breath its last.
