This tool comprises of 2 folding arms connected to a central hinge locking mechanism that allows for the Daiichi Seiko – Knot Assist 2.0 Tool to fold into a compact shape to minimise its space it would take up in a tackle box. Each arm including the central hinge locking mechanism possesses a cleat mechanism that comes with a switch that can opened and closed the jaws of the cleat that can PE line (gauge PE0.3-PE6) and leader (3lbs-70lbs) when knotting up.
