The jaws of these pliers are made of 1.6mm hardened SUS6 stainless steel that incorporates a PE braid cutter (that will easily cut up PE2.5 lines with ease) and a bent nosed split ring opener (which would comfortably open a #2 split ring that is commonly used on most light game lures up to 28 grams).

To allow for maximum user dexterity, the lanyard is secured to the pliers’ handle via a movable clip that can travel freely along a grooved track found in each handle section of the pliers. This unique design will also prevent twists and kinks being introduced in the retractable lanyard with repeated use of the pliers. To suit both left and right hander’s, Daiichi Seiko have designed the clip to be removable so that it can be swapped from one handle to the other.
