The Megabass FX9 SW is a 9cm, 10.63grams, realistic, shallow-diving (0.5m max), flat-sided saltwater sub-surface minnow that comes packed with features.

During casts, the FX9’s Variable Resistance Flap Bill (Pat.P) tucks against the body, decreasing air resistance and thereby extending overall casting distance.  This makes long casts possible for such a small sized lure, a trait not usually expected from slim, light weight minnows.

Additionally, the Flap Bill shifts according to changes in water flow during jerks, creating unpredictable movement that mimics the action of fleeing baitfish encountering a predator.

On a straight retrieve, the FX9, with its decentralized balancer system, will create a high-speed S-shaped rolling movement to enhance it enticement.

When the retrieve is stopped, it floats upwards while lifting its head, performing a “rise & escape” action, making this lure a rather attractive proposition to target species.
