Daiwa - 2017 Saltiga Bay Jigging 200SHL - Overhead Reel

The Daiwa 2017 Saltiga Bay Jigger 200SHL is a compact, round profile, precision engineered, 325gram, left handed, overhead fishing reel that is designed for the serious coastal bay jigging action.

The reel comes equipped with Daiwa’s latest automatic tournament drag (ATD) system that vastly improves drag smoothness even when the drag is buttoned down to its max.

Saltwater entry and corrosion into key moving elements of the reel is kept at bay with the use of MagSeal.

The reel has a spool capacity capable of holding up to 450m of PE1 braided line, and with Daiwa’s ATD system, produces a max drag of 7kg that allows line to peel smoothly and steadily.

Tuned with a gear ratio of 7.3:1, the reel will achieve 81cm of line retrieve with every rotation of its adjustable (75-85mm) machine cut handle arm.

Constructed from an all metal body and equipped with a large comfortable aluminium knob, the Daiwa Saltiga Bay Jigger 200SHL overhead reel is perfect for inshore jigging and bottom fishing action.
