The Megabass Great Hunting GHBF 48-4UL Extreme Climber is a compact, 4 piece, 4’8” (1.42m), ultra-light, bait casting, finesse fishing rod that is designed to be carried or concealed in a back pack, for easy transport upstream, through rough terrain and into heavy cover, whilst en route to the desired honey spot.

Rated for BFS use, the rod has a sweet regular action that loads easily to flick lures as light as 1gram, but sufficient backbone and whip to cast lures up to 6grams.

A short, rear weighted, ergonomic handle assembly, that is comprised of a machine cut aluminium casting handle with knurled locking nuts and cork grip, that is paired with an ultra-thin blank, has the desired feel of producing complete balance and the confidence to flick and present lures with accuracy on a one-handed cast.

The Great Hunting GHBF 48-4UL comes with an elegant machine cut anodised aluminium rod tube with laser engraving for storage once the day’s fishing is over.
