The Megabass MagBeat, is a 100mm, 17 grams, sinking soft plastic swim bait lure that has been designed to target sea bass. To improve swimming action and to minimise damage to the body of the lure, the MagBeat comes with a magnet embedded into the belly of the lure to hold the belly treble hook in place, whilst being cast and retrieved. In addition, a slit has been created in the belly of the lure to give the angler the option to tuck one of the hook’s points into the MagBeat’s belly to reduce drag resistance. A barrel swivel has been added to allow for free rotation of the treble hook, to maximise the chances of a hook up. Lastly, the MagBeat is designed with a small paddle tail that will produce a hi-pitch vibration when retrieved. In culmination, each of these features work in unison to make the MagBeat a deadly lure against sea bass.
