Metal Body

Silent Oscillator

The level-wind gear and drive are fully dampened by CRBB bearings to prevent unnecessary noise and vibration from being transmitted through the line to terminal tackle, thereby increasing your chances of a strike.

Air Bail™

The hollow tubular stainless Air Bail™ is super strong yet light in weight, with no protrusions to snag line leading to the Twister Buster roller.

Cross Wrap

Digigear’s precision, gear-driven level-wind lays line evenly in a cross wrapped pattern to prevent line dig-in under pressure.

ABS

Daiwa’s machined ABS (anti-ballistic system) aluminium spool has been designed such that its spool diameter is tapered to discourage line peel when the bail arm is opened. The ABS spool comes with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coated lip to reduce friction during casting.

Twist Buster®

Huge oversized large diameter Twister Buster Titanium Nitride (TiN) coated roller allows oversized shock leaders to sail through unimpeded with each cast. Large diameter roller also helps dissipate enormous pressure placed on the roller by today’s super braided lines which pass through at 90 degrees to the spool and the TiN coating reducing friction to minimise line breakage occurring at the roller.

CRBB

Daiwa’s CRBB bearings use specially treated stainless steel that last up to 12 times longer than standard stainless steel bearings in a corrosive saltwater environment - Daiwa CRBB, are sealed to shield out sand, fine grit, salt crystals and other abrasives, unlike ordinary “corrosion resistant” bearings, which are open to saltwater and grit.

Washable

Sealed, water-resistant drag and body - makes the reel washable and keeping the internal mechanism complete dry and free of salt  - thereby eliminating corrosion and gear failure in turn guaranteeing you years of pleasure with each use of your reel.
